VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION

  • On 22 January ’14, Neelabh Rai received “Lifetime Membership” of Rotary Blood Bank. With this award, he is now entitled to draw as many units of blood as may be required in his lifetime, free of processing charges from the Rotary Blood Bank. For this, he is provided a special blood donor card.
  • On 14 June ’13, Neelabh received “Star Blood Donor” award from Shri Sudarshan Agarwal, Emeritus & Founder President, Rotary Blood Bank, New Delhi for his contributions as a motivator blood-donationfor blood donations and donating blood for 33 times in mere 9 years. This award was given on account of Neelabh’s untiring contributions as a voluntary non-remunerated blood donor after every 3-4 months as well as working as a volunteer motivator for donating voluntary blood.
  • Neelabh Rai’s name was added in the list of “Voluntary Apheresis Donors (in emergency) for Cancer Patients” at Tata Cancer Hospital, Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal on 31 December ’12.
  • On 30 August ’12, Rotary Blood Bank Noida enrolled Neelabh as a “Life Saving Ambassador” on account of his 31st voluntary non-remunerated blood donation.
